Product Description
The filter Baader multiband violet is not a simple filter absorbent, but a selective filter contrast with the diagram transmission annex, the purpose of which is to block those regions of the visible spectrum where the brightness of the sky background, is the natural that induced by artificial light, is particularly annoying.

The result is that the filter is very effective SkyGlow to increase the contrast observation of the sky

Deep in that the Moon and planets. Since the filter transmits nearly 90% of incident light into spectral bands listed, it does not affect the perception of differences in brightness between the different parts of the image. It 'a lunar filter which increases the contrast but NOT decreases significantly in the brightness of the subject.

The surfaces of the filter are accurately machined so that it can be placed before the telescope focal plane without disturbing the wave front, unlike most common filters (made plans roughly) that determine a loss instead of definition.

To realize its effectiveness try to observe Jupiter first unfiltered and then with the filter inserted nell'oculare. You will notice that it highlights the details of Jupiter red and blue. If without the use of the filter had difficulty in perceiving the Great Red Spot, with the Baader violet multiband see clearly.
